Peter Gilchrist CB - Non-executive Chairman

Peter Gilchrist

Peter retired from the Army as a Major General having spent his last tour as Head of the British Defence Staff in the United States. He had a total of over 8 years involved in defence procurement and spent over 4 years as an Executive Director on the Defence Procurement Agency Board driving high performance in highly complex, high value, tri service programmes by coaching and mentoring Integrated Project Teams.

He was also responsible for provision of Urgent Operational Requirements for all 3 services for 6 years. He was the first Technical Director of the Defence Procurement Agency.

Peter was appointed a Companion of the Bath in 2004.

Sharon Ronald, ACA, ATII - Managing Director

Sharon Ronald

Joining the team in 1996, Sharon was able to bring in new ideas to secure the continued growth of Berkeley Hall for the future and change the way accountancy worked for the better, by visiting clients at their work place.

This approach has enabled clients to feel more secure in their own surroundings. In 1998 Sharon acquired a share of the practice and turned it into a limited company. Sharon leads from the front. She is a qualified Tax Advisor to the highest possible accreditation in this field; as a result she is able to deal with all matters of taxation in addition to general accountancy.

Graham Lee - Non Executive Director

Graham Lee

Graham is an experienced Managing Director, Chief Executive, and Chairman with extensive experience of the IT, microelectronic, and defence sectors.

Having built and sold his own company providing ruggedized computers for defence applications, Graham now chairs a number of technology-related businesses and has in-depth experience of acquisitions and exits for start-up and SME companies. He is a member of the Institution of Electrical Engineers (IEE) and a graduate in Physics and Electronics.

Michelle Lindley ~ Company Secretary

Michelle Lindley

In her general management role, Michelle is the backbone of Berkeley Hall.

Having joined the Company in the mid 90s, she now provides a ‘consistency’ that clients appreciate. With her knowledge of staff and customer insight, Michelle is able to ensure that Berkeley Hall’s operation runs smoothly and that customers receive the correct attention that they deserve.
